Beach is CLOSED due to severe erosion resulting in unsafe conditions for beach 4WD access,

This has caused severe erosion of the beach and foredunes leaving steep ledges and areas of very soft sand which makes the beach inaccessible and unsafe for recreational 4WD use. Erosion has resulted in sections of the beaches being eaten away by seas leaving insufficient beach to enable 4WD vehicles to safely traverse beaches along authorised access areas.
